KEENE is the duo formed by the brothers Lloyd and Kevin Keene, who since 2010 have become a referent for house and techno music in Latin America.

With roots in Afro, Deep, House and Techno genres, KEENE’s music is a seamless fusion of organic and electronic elements, reflecting their cultural background and musical talents. The brothers’ shared passion for music and their unique brotherly bond inspire their collaborative approach, and you just have to see the dancing throng while they DJ to understand it.

Based in Berlin, KEENE is also resident DJs at the prestigious Watergate Club, where they regularly perform and showcase their musical style to an enthusiastic audience. Their sound is known for its Afro Caribbean influence, hypnotic rhythms, and emotional depth that never fails to captivate their listeners. Additionally, the brothers run their own record label, Cacao Records, which represents their musical universe, a space where they collaborate and find a common ground with like-minded artists from around the world. 

As part of their mission to promote electronic music, they produce and manage Late Night Music’s roster of shows in Panama, bringing their unique sound and vision to audiences around the country.

In addition, KEENE is also the co-founder of the Panama Crossroads Music Festival, a yearly event dedicated to celebrating diversity and the local cultural richness of their hometown within a safe and inclusive space. Where people from different backgrounds, nationalities and beliefs share unique and enriching experiences in an exceptional setting. This year KEENE is set to establish a lasting and meaningful legacy in the international artistic landscape with exciting performances, collaborations and releases.
